For Immediate Release:
Our Concert Could Be Your Life Final Line-up: Citay, Grooms, callers, White Hills, Yellow Ostrich & hosts Janeane Garofalo and Eugene Mirman Added
On March 8, music journalist Michael Azerrad and concert promoter Tiger Mountain Presents announced Our Concert Could Be Your Life, a very special evening of music to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Azerrad's classic history of the '80s indie underground, Our Band Could Be Your Life. The show, featuring some of the best bands in contemporary indie music each taking their turn performing songs by each of the 13 bands featured in the book, sold out the Bowery Ballroom instantly.
Today they are pleased to announce the final and complete line-up...
Joining the evening are San Francisco's psychedelic pop-rock collective Citay and four NYC/Brooklyn bands; avant-rock trio Grooms, jazz meets post-punk trio callers, heavy psych-rockers White Hills and the sweet and ingenious indie-pop trio Yellow Ostrich. Very special guests Janeane Garofalo and Eugene Mirman will co-host the event.
Limited-edition screen printed posters, by designer Joe Jurewicz, commemorating the event will be available for sale at the show as well as copies of Michael Azerrad's book Our Band Could Be Your Life.
